2026 Family Day

More family-friendly snow fun at the Rossland Museum!

Sunday, February 15th, 2026 - 10 am to 4 pm

Bundle up and bring the whole crew to the Museum for a fun-filled BC Family Day celebration on Sunday, February 16, between 10 am and 4 pm!

Enjoy a day of winter fun with a snowy maze, toboggan runs, snow painting, and snowman building. Get creative with hands-on crafts, explore a snowy scavenger hunt, and warm up by the campfire with maple taffy, hot chocolate, and hot apple cider.

It’s a playful, cozy day outdoors with something for all ages — perfect for making Family Day memories together! ❄️☕🔥

Entry by Donation.

Maple Taffy at 11 am, 12 pm, and 2 pm.

The Museum is open year-round!

Tuesdays to Sundays, 10 am to 5 pm.

How to Get Here:

Parking for this event will be limited.

The free Rossland Ski Bus goes right past the Museum! Check out the timetable and map here.

Did you know we're less than a fifteen-minute, almost flat (25m elevation) walk or fat bike ride from the Arena? Take the trail from Nickleplate, and you'll be there and back in no time!

Check out the City-maintained path from downtown and Upper Rossland!

It’s an easy walk with an incredible view!

Coming from Lower Rossland? There’s a trail for that, too!

This event is supported in part by the Columbia Basin Trust.
