Get ready for BC Family Day – we're gearing up for an incredible celebration at the Museum on Sunday, February 18th, from 10 am to 4 pm with a snow-filled family day extravaganza! Explore our snow maze, race down our tobogganing hill, unleash your creativity with snow painting, and build the perfect snowman. Try out our family-friendly crafts and warm up by the campfire as we treat you to delicious maple taffy, hot chocolate, and hot apple cider. To top it all off, snuggle down for a family-friendly film screening in the Cominco theatre.

Snowboard-Painting Workshop
FEBRUARY 13 UPDATE: Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we must reschedule this workshop (new date tbc). We will be reaching out directly to everyone who has already registered, and can either keep participants on the list for the rescheduled date or refund their registration fee. Local artist Cath Ruthven will be leading a very special snowboard-painting workshop at the Museum! Get ready to add an artistic touch to your snow-day adventure! Youth ages 9 and up can join us from 2 to 5 pm for a snowboard-painting workshop led by talented local artist Cath Ruthven. Explore your creative side as you transform snowboards into unique pieces of art. Space is limited, so register now. The $10 registration fee* includes instruction and supplies.
