July 1 in Rossland ~ 2024
Mark your calendars for another amazing celebration! We are once again hosting Rossland's Canada Day celebrations at the Museum.
Monday, July 1st, 2024 ~ 11 am to 4 pm
We'll be open with an amazing line-up of activities, ceremony, cake, and live music from 11 am to 4 pm. Check out our games and activities, grab some tacos, hot dogs, and a cold drink, and settle down to enjoy the show. The ceremony starts at 12 noon, but the bouncy house will open at 11, so don't wait!
Entry by donation.
SCHEDULE:
10:45-11:45 am: performance by Michael "Gut Bucket Giff" Gifford
12 pm: Ceremony (“O Canada,” address from City of Rossland, performance by the Gold Fever Follies, and cake/cookies)
12:45-2 pm: performance by Golden City Fiddlers
2-4 pm: performance by Truckvancar

VENDOR/VOLUNTEER CALL-OUT:
We're looking for volunteers to help with the events and for community groups/local businesses to set up info booths and kiosks on the lawn. Get in touch with Fiona at admin@ rosslandmuseum.ca to sign up!
This is a licensed event in partnership with the Flying Steamshovel.
IMPORTANT NOTES
We will not be presenting a fireworks show at the end of the night this year. The museum events will only be during the day this year.
