RMDC Gallery Series: “Burning the Koots” by Jaydlyn Joan

The Rossland Museum & Discovery Centre Gallery Series is back with a special showing by local artist Jaydlyn Joan's work, "Burning the Koots!"

Join us on opening night at 5:30 pm, September 26th for an address from the artist, refreshments, and time to take in the new exhibit with friends. Come check out Jaydlyn's incredible pyrography and for those who can't make it to the opening night, Jaydlyn's exhibit will remain onsite from September 26th to October 10th in the Museum's Entrance Gallery, where interested parties may also purchase the artwork.

Jaydlyn Joan Pyrography

About the Artist

Jaydlyn Joan has made a name for herself in the world of pyrography with her incredibly detailed pieces of Canadian wildlife. She has become a staple in the pyrography community and is regarded as one of the best pyrography artists in the business; recognized around the world, and amassing a large online following and fanbase including celebrities and well-known artists.

Leading a quiet Life in Rossland, Jaydlyn takes inspiration from her time spent out in the wilds of the Rossland and Kootenay region, spending countless hours exploring and observing the local ecosystems throughout the year. Her pieces depict animals and plants that she has seen personally, many times using her reference photos taken during her adventures.
