Community Stories - Virtual Museum of Canada
We are pleased to announce an exciting new bilingual exhibit that will be developed with an investment by the Virtual Museum of Canada (VMC). The topic we have selected is the story of the development of ski racing on Red Mountain from the 1890s to the 1980s! This exhibit will be part of the VMC’s ‘Community Stories’ collection and will be available online in 2021. We are excited to share this incredible history and showcase our community and achievements on a national platform.
In order to tell this story the best way we can, we need your help! Do you have relevant stories to share about the history of ski racing on Red? Were you a racer, a coach, a volunteer? Is there a topic or subject that you don’t want us to overlook? If you’d like us to get in touch or you know of someone we should talk to, please let us know as soon as possible!
