Time for another Rossland Winter Carnival! Come by the museum between 10 am to 5 pm Saturday-Sunday January 25-26th for our snowmaze, a snowman-building contest, sledding, hot chocolate, maple taffy, and more!

We're hosting a one-stop shop for kids to make all of their holiday gifts this year! Drop by the Museum between 10 am and 3 pm on Saturday, December 7th, to take advantage of the craft stations and gift-wrap solutions! With options geared for ages 5-12 (and maybe even some wiggle room for slightly older or younger kids!), there's something for everyone on the list.

November 3rd was a special day at the Rossland Museum & Discovery Centre: it marked ten years since Joelle Hodgins began as Museum Director! Joelle keeps a pretty low profile around town and in the Museum: she generally prefers the behind-the-scenes stuff. But many pretty incredible goals have been achieved since Joelle moved down here from the Yukon. Today, we wanted to bring a few of these to the forefront!
